The short answer
Your initial assessment is free. Our advice fees start from 0.5%, we take no commission from product providers, and your written plan shows every cost – ours, the platform’s and the funds’ – before you decide anything.
How our fees work
| What | Cost |
|---|---|
| Initial assessment | Free, no obligation |
| Advice fees | From 0.5% |
| Commission from product providers | None – we’re fee-only |
| Platform and fund charges | Paid to the provider, shown in your plan |
See the difference for yourself. Our investment fee calculator shows what your current charges could cost you over time, compared with a flat 0.5% advice fee.
We work entirely online, with no physical offices, which helps keep our costs – and yours – down. You’ll always know what you’re paying and why.
Why fee-only matters
Many expats are sold products that pay the adviser commission, often with high annual charges and penalties for leaving early. Because we don’t take commission, our recommendation doesn’t depend on which product pays us more. If what you already have is the right fit, we’ll tell you.
- No commission from product providers
- Every fee set out in writing before you commit
- A clear view of what your current plans cost you
- Low-cost, diversified portfolios on platforms that accept expats

Fee questions
Is the first call really free?
Yes. The initial assessment is free and there’s no obligation to work with us afterwards.
Do you take commission?
No. We’re fee-only and don’t take commission from product providers.
Are there other costs?
Platforms and funds have their own charges, which are paid to the provider. We show these in your plan so you can see the total cost before you decide.
Do your fees depend on where I live?
No. We work online with clients in more than 34 countries, and the way our fees work is the same wherever you live.
